Structure Fire - Now Out; INC#0862; 12:51PM; 1750 N Wilton Pl; ; #Hollywood; 2 story boarded-up craftsman home with smoke and fire showing from the rear of the property. Firefighters proceeded in offensive mode and located fire between two detached garages. Minor involvement of one structure; fire fully extinguished by first arriving companies in 16 minutes. No occupants found, no injuries reported. Firefighters remain on scene for overhaul; DOT has been notified for traffic control. KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0538; 10:08AM; 1212 W 61st St; ; #Vermont-Slauson; Heavy fire quickly spread to multiple areas of this dwelling, including attic spaces and a shed (fully involved) attached to the rear of the home. Neighboring structures were successfully protected from fire involvement. Full knockdown of all areas achieved in 38 minutes, though approximately 90 firefighters remain on scene for property salvage and structure overhaul. All occupants are accounted for, with no injuries reported. Knockdown - Structure Fire; INC#1165; 04:41PM; 15878 W Larkspur St; ; #Sylmar; A well-coordinated offensive by 36 LAFD responders took just 29 minutes to confine and fully extinguish flames, holding them to the exterior of one unit and nearby vegetation at the two story 'Sylmar Villas' senior apartment complex. No injuries have been reported. Knockdown - Greater Alarm Structure Fire; INC#0435; 09:06AM; 13420 W Huston St; ; #ShermanOaks; *Address Corrected* 54 LAFD Firefighters took just 28 minutes to extinguish fire in a two story garden style apartment building that quickly extended from one first floor unit to a pair of units on the second floor of the 76 year-old structure. One adult male civilian who experienced smoke exposure was transported by LAFD ambulance to an area hospital in undetermined condition. Another civilian at a nearby address is currently being evaluated at scene by LAFD Paramedics for an unspecified medical complaint.
